Sigil Code is published by Rodrigo Castro. This policy explains how the Sigil Code iPhone app handles information.
Data collection
Sigil Code does not collect personal data. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics SDK, remote AI generation service, or tracking technology. Intention text, generated symbols, imported artwork, and camera images are processed on your device and are not uploaded to the publisher.
Information stored on your device
Symbols and thumbnails that you save are stored in the app’s local protected container. Depending on your iPhone settings, Apple may include this local app data in a device backup. You can delete saved entries in the app. Removing the app can remove its local collection. Files you export remain wherever you choose to save or share them.
Camera and photos
Camera or photo access is used only when you choose to scan supported Sigil Code Grimoire artwork. Images are analyzed locally on your device. Sigil Code does not upload or retain those images on a publisher-operated server.
Sharing
Sharing begins only when you choose it. The selected export is passed to the destination you select through Apple’s share sheet. That app, service, or recipient handles the shared material under its own terms and privacy practices. Sigil Code symbols are encoding, not encryption.
Purchases and Apple services
Apple processes the optional one-time Sigil Pro purchase and may process purchase, diagnostic, backup, and App Store usage information under Apple’s policies and your device settings. Sigil Code checks the verified purchase entitlement to unlock Pro, but the publisher does not receive your payment-card details.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated before Sigil Code introduces materially different data practices. The effective date above identifies the current version.
